The best, the bad and the wise – tell us

Bought anything great recently? Done anything that, with hindsight, you wouldn’t do again? Been told anything particularly wise or insightful?
If so, Farmers Weekly wants to know what, because we’re asking readers to answer four quick questions:
* What’s been your best buy of the year?
* What’s been your biggest mistake of the year?
* What the best piece of advice you’ve been given this year?
* How would you summarise 2011 in three words?
The questions are already generating some interesting and amusing answers on our forums.
A John Deere 4055 tractor and not making enough hay constitued the best buy and biggest mistake respectively for Honeymonster.
Farmer Dan 6465, meanwhile, reckons the best advice he’s been given is “if you never had it, you won’t miss it” and would sum up the year (so far) in three words as “wet and muddy”.
We’ll be publishing a selection of our favourite answers in Farmers Weekly and there’s a £50 prize on offer for the one we like best in each category.
You don’t even need to answer all four – feel free to just respond to one or two if you’d prefer.
You can either email your answer(s) to fwfarmlife@rbi.co.uk or add them to the thread on our website forums.
