Walford and North Shropshire College
Walford and North Shropshire College is situated approximately eight miles from Shrewsbury Shropshire. Here is our land-based campus at Walford with the A level and non-land-based courses situated at Oswestry.
At the Walford campus, there is a mixed farm consisting of arable, sheep and dairy. As well as the farm having to accommodate practical sessions for the full-time and day-release agrics, a variety of other courses require the farm’s resourses. Part of the yard is also used for RTV and PA training and other short courses run by the rural skills department. The campus itself has an unrivalled animal care unit and an excellent engineering block. This is a diverse college that has a friendly atmosphere and very supportive staff. I’m just glad to be part of it.
