VIDEO: Gearing up for the CLA Game Fair

Country sports lovers around the nation are gearing up for the CLA Game Fair.

The Warwickshire fair, which runs from 23-25 July, is billed as the “ultimate annual event for the country sport enthusiast”.

The venue will be Ragley Hall, Alcester – and organisers are hoping to top last year, when 136,000 visitors came to Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire.

As well as finding plenty to see and do, showgoers will have the opportunity to meet like-minded people and soak up the atmosphere.

There will be specialist areas such as shooting, fishing, gundogs, falconry, gamekeepers and estate management. Leading manufacturers and retailers will also be present – plus there’ll be international championships, competitions, expert tuition, demonstrations and displays.

“Have-a-Go” is the 2010 theme – and this will be evident across the hundreds of acres at Ragley Hall, with visitors having the chance to try a range of activities from fishing, archery and dog training to laser combat, falconry and mountain boarding.
