Dreweatt Neate in win-win deal

DREWEATT NEATE’S Charles Lucas achieved a “win-win” result with the sale of Shefford Park Farm near Hungerford on the Berks/Wilts border.

The 200-acre farm, one mile from Junction 14 of the M4, was bought from Alan Holland by an investor who paid over the £1.9m guide, said Mr Lucas.

“It became clear the purchaser wanted the farm as a long-term investment so we negotiated and Mr Holland will now contract the farm in addition to his other farming interests.”

Mr Holland will also continue to live in the farm’s house while he and his wife look for another property, added Mr Lucas.
