Theberton Hall Farm’s broad appeal
Suffolk firm Clarke & Simpson is just about to launch a 438-acre farm that should appeal to a broad mix of buyers.
Theberton Hall Farm at Theberton, near Saxmundham, is being sold by Mr and Mrs Bryan Hart, who are retiring. Selling agent, Christopher Clarke, said the property’s 262 acres of light, irrigated arable soil, which support potatoes and carrots as well as cereals, could appeal to local farmers. “It has a huge irrigation licence.”
But Mr Clarke said there would also be keen interest from lifestyle buyers in the farm, which is guided at £1.75m, because of its attractive location three miles from the coast and its modern three-bedroom house, which has a period two- bedroom annexe.
