Yorkshire farm going for more than £3m

NEWHALL GRANGE and Throapham Farm is under offer.

The 503-acre Grade 3 arable unit at Carr, South Yorks, was launched by Adkin Rural in May with a guide of £2.65m for the whole. This was then increased to just over £3m when best-and-final offers were invited, and agent Philip Pocock said this was also significantly exceeded.

Mr Pocock said the farm, which included a five-bed listed house, was going to six purchasers, but two local farmers were buying the main blocks of land.
