Proof that cows get moo-dy

SCIENTISTS AT Bristol and Cambridge Universities found cows to be far more intelligent then previously thought, reports the Daily Express.
According to the scientists cows routinely hold grudges against other cows and leap in the air with satisfaction after solving a problem.
The research will be presented at a conference hosted by Compassion in World Farming in London during March.
Donald Broom, professor of animal welfare at Cambridge monitored cows‘ brain waves as they solved a problem of opening doors to be rewarded with parcel of food.
“Their brainwaves showed their excitement, their heartbeat went up and some even jumped in the air. We called it their ‘Eureka moment‘,” said prof Broom.
The researchers now believe that the cows form groups of two to four with other cows that they are friendly with.
Researchers also believe that cows can hold grudges for several months possibly even years.
