Defra has announced further measures this week to tackle the scourge that is bovine TB.
With more than 28,000 cattle slaughtered in England alone in 2015, and the cost to the taxpayer exceeding £100m a year, the government has embarked on a 25-year disease-eradication policy.
Part of this involves culling badgers and, while the exact sites are not being revealed, efforts are focused on counties where the disease is rife.
The following graphic provides a snapshot of the level of bovine TB in those counties.
