Join our live biosecurity Q&A with DEFRA

A panel of experts will be logging on to FWi this Friday to answer questions about how to minimise the risk of bovine TB through on-farm biosecurity.

Andrew Cobner from the British Cattle Veterinary Association, Anthony Pope from the South West TB Farm Advisory Service and Linda Evans from AHVLA will be taking your questions from 1-2pm on Friday (19 July), focusing on the role biosecurity can play in tackling the problem of bovine TB.

Questions might include:

  • What biosecurity means
  • What measures farmers can take
  • How to minimise the risk of infection from badgers
  • Sharing best practice

This is a unique opportunity to talk directly to TB experts and get your questions answered.

Farmers Weekly‘s livestock reporter Rhian Price will be chairing the one-hour live event between 1-2pm on Friday. There’s no need to log in or register – just visit www.fwi.co.uk at 1pm, where you will find a discussion box and will be able to join the conversation in real time.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it at 1pm, you can submit questions now and a full transcript will be available as soon as it’s finished:
