Woman charged with attempted firearm theft in cull zone

A woman has been charged with the attempted theft of a firearm in the Gloucestershire pilot badger cull zone.


Madeline Buckler, 31, of Kings Moss Lane, in Kings Moss, Merseyside, was arrested on Friday night (11 October) following an alleged incident in Newent on Wednesday (9 October).


She has been charged with attempting to steal a firearm and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause another harassment alarm or distress, contrary to the Public Order Act.


She has been bailed to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on 20 November 2013.
