Highland Game contracts

Highland Game has secured a contract with Morrisons to supply Scottish wild venison to 60 of its stores across the UK.

The supermarket deal is the third Highland Game has secured in the past three months, following agreements to supply venison cuts to selected outlets of Waitrose and Tesco.

Christian Nissen, Highland Game’s managing director, said venison is a healthy alternative to other meats.

“It’s great that its possibilities are finally being realised by companies such as Morrisons.”
