New water soluble antibiotic for pneumonia and ileitis in pigs

Pig producers can now treat enzootic pneumonia and ileitis with a new water soluble antibiotic.

As a soluble granule, Aivlosin from ECO Animal Health lends itself to quick treatment and offers the flexibility to treat individual pens – features which are not always possible when using medication via the feed route.

“The proven efficacy of Aivlosin is underpinned by Aivlosin’s rapid absorption and targeted accumulation at the site of infection, providing producers with improved growth rated and better feed conversion,” says ECO Animal Health.

Challenge and field trials against Ileitis have shown Aivlosin in-feed treatments to consistently improve clinical disease and performance in the face of serious infection challenges.
