Bumble Hole Foods joins Lion scheme

Bumble Hole Foods is now a fully certified producer of British Lion quality egg products after successful completion of an audit to join the Lion scheme.

A family-run Worcestershire egg processor, Bumble Hole supplies many leading UK food manufacturers with egg products and joined the scheme as a response to the changing priorities of buyers in the industry.

Andrew Hewston, managing director at the firm said: “More than ever, buyers are seeking added assurances on issues such as food safety, ethical working practices, food miles and consistent quality.

“Bumble Hole has always endeavoured to meet these requirements and is proud to officially produce egg products that comply to the stringent standards of Lion membership.”
