Happy Eggs launches Free Ranger iPhone app

Noble Foods, Happy Egg Company has become the first British egg producer to launch its own iPhone app to promote their eggs and the welfare conditions of birds on their farms.

The “Free Ranger” app is an interactive game where the player dodges obstacles such as foxes, logs and mole hills, stopping to rest along the way under the shade of trees or by scratching for bugs in bushes.

An on pack competition is also being run to promote the game with consumers having the chance to win a £1,000 to spend on outdoor equipment from BBQ’s to kids wading pools.

“The Free Range Fun campaign is about encouraging children and families to enjoy the outdoors just like our hens do.” Rob Newell, head of marketing at The Happy Egg Company said.
