New sales manager for Intervet/Schering-Plough

Jonathan Perkins has been appointed to the new role of sales manager for the Integrated Livestock Business Unit at Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health UK.

The position is a promotion for Jonathan who was previously a UK senior key account manager for the poultry division of the company.

The Integrated Livestock Business Unit (ILBU) headed in the UK by director David Schofield includes the poultry, pig and aquaculture divisions.

Confirming the appointment David Schofield explained the importance of the new role for UK customers. “This new position is very much part of our objective of bringing the strongest possible commercial support to species sales teams and importantly their customers.

“Jonathan has considerable experience in understanding and working within both commercial and production environments. He will work across the business indentifying opportunities for mutual growth and development. We see this as of particular importance as each sector seeks to meet the challenges in their respective markets.”
