NSA Lambing List now open for farmers seeking student help
© Tim Scrivener National Sheep Association (NSA) members looking for veterinary or agricultural students to help with the upcoming lambing season are being invited to register with the organisation’s Lambing List.
The NSA Lambing List is designed to help connect those requiring assistance at lambing time with students looking for work experience as part of their studies.

Members wishing to advertise on the list must complete a short application form providing brief details of their system and the experience and position they can offer, including provision of accommodation, meals and other details.
The list will then be posted on the NSA Next Generation portal in November, once the list is populated with placements, for students to find potential jobs.
One NSA member who regularly uses the list said: “The Lambing List is a great service and one I use every year.
“We have been very lucky with all the students we have had to help with lambing, all from the list.
“Last year we had seven different students from different universities, and we look forward to welcoming more again this lambing season.”
