Sheep worrying survey calls for farmer opinions
© FLPA/John Eveson/REX/Shutterstock Farmers and dog owners can influence industry efforts to control dog attacks on sheep flocks by taking part in an online survey.
The 15-minute survey seeks to gauge opinion on the divisive issue and what steps both sides think could work to provide solutions.

Responses will remain anonymous and inform academics on what preventative measures are reasonable for farmers to take and what stakeholders think are reasonable punishments for dog owners.
Supported by Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC), the survey has been created by veterinary student Nicola Hayes at the University of Edinburgh’s Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies.
The survey closes on 24 June, with results to be released later this year.Â
