Two-day tour for uplands flockmasters

THE NORTHERN Uplands Sheep Strategy is inviting flockmasters to their two-day sheep tour, incorporating a visit to Trident Feeds Northern and Borders Sheep Fair.

The tour will include a farm visit to Messers Mason and Gardner of Philpin House Farm, Chapel-le-Dale, North Yorkshire.

There will also be a hands-on training session on lamb selection and carcass classification.

Visiting speakers will be Clive Brown of EBLEX and producer and NFU member Thomas Binns.
