Agritechnica 2011: Kubota shows off US prototype

Kubota was showing off this M135GX tractor at Agritechnica, which was tagged as a US prototype.

Completely restyled, it has a cavernous four-post cab and a three-range, eight-step powershift gearbox. Under the bonnet there’s a 136hp four-cylinder motor which now uses a particulate filter to meet emissions regs. And to smooth things out a bit the company has developed its own suspended front axle. As yet it’s not clear when it will go on sale but we’re told testing will continue in the US throughout 2012.
