Andrew Ward puts his arable machinery fleet up for auction

The machinery assets of Roy Ward (Farms) will be up for grabs later this month, as Lincolnshire grower Andrew Ward dispenses with his entire fleet following a two-year business review.

This includes a tracked 14-plate New Holland CR9090 combine that, over its 1,571 drum hours, has seen off 4,569ha of combinable crops. It is being offered with a Perard twin-axle trailer for the 35ft Varifeed header.

Joining it on the roster are two tractors: a 21-plate John Deere 8RX 410 on 1,475 hours and an in-demand Case MX135 that has clocked 9,398 hours since its 1999 registration.

Also up for sale are a 2023 Househam Harrier 4000 with 32m boom, 16t grain and 32ft flatbed trailers from Bailey, and a ruck of Simba cultivators.

Punters can view the Roy Ward inventory at Glebe Farm, Leadenham on 26 and 27 March from 10am-4pm. Brown & Co’s online timed auction is set to run from 7am on 26 March until midday on 1 April.

A 3% buyer’s premium and 2% internet surcharge will be added to the hammer price of all successful bids.
