Kawasaki’s new KVF300 ATV is aimed at those who don’t need big engines of 400 or 500cc.

However, the company points out that it has a CVT transmission, sturdy front and rear racks plus a generous towing capacity. The engine is a water-cooled, electric-start 271cc unit and features include twin front disc brakes and a rear disc with a useful independent parking brake facility.

The engine is rated at 22hp and footboards and deeply cleated foot-pegs come as standard, as do the digital speedo, trip, fuel and temperature gauges plus a clock. The chassis and steering also have a five-way adjustable front and rear suspension plus 155mm of ground clearance.
