Cereals 2009: New tined cultivator from Vogel and Noot

Its short romance with Bomford over, Vogel and Noot is once more bringing its cultivation kit direct to the UK.

Aside from the range of ploughs on which it built its name, the company has a new tined stubble cultivator on offer.

The Terracult has four rows of beefy spring ripper tines that can be used at varying depths up to 300mm (12in). Quick-change points mean it can easily be swapped between narrow low-draft tips and wide wing-shares. A row of star-wheels at the back provides a mixing and levelling effect and a ring-press with knife scrapers firms everything up. Ideal working speed is 10kph, which means a 4m version will need about 170hp up front.
