Cereals 2010: Ledbury reports increased interest in steel tanks
Ledbury Welding and Engineering, which specialises in steel fuel tanks, has had a busy Cereals.
It says that worries about theft of fuel from plastic tanks are prompting increasing numbers of farmers to switch back to steel.
Not only that, but concerns about the poorer storage qualities of the new low-sulphur gas oil that will replace red diesel at the end of the year are also making farmers think more carefully about how they manage their fuel.
