Concept BS mower targets verges and ditches

Concept has added a new model to its range of verge mowers.
The BS mower can be hydraulically shifted between the left- and right-hand side of the tractor to make life easier when trimming verges and ditches.
The mowing unit can also be moved through 180deg so it can be used to run along ditch banks or against a hedge or steep bank.
The rotor is driven by an independent hydraulic pump and motor, and an 80-litre oil tank hidden in the headstock should prevent overheating. Auxiliary services – including side shifting and rotation – are operated on tractor spools.
The BS is available in working widths from 1.6-2.6m, weighs just over a tonne and will require a minimum of 100hp on the front.
