Larger herds mean more slurry, bigger lagoons and higher capacity machinery to handle it. When it comes to slurry agitation, the new Mega Mix lagoon pump from Storth takes the operation to new levels.

This 7m long, tractor-mounted unit has a pto-powered impeller drum which draws slurry in and delivers it to a jetter nozzle at a rate of up to 22,000 litres/minute. With a 300° swivel action, the jetter can blast slurry into corners where normal agitators cannot reach. The jetter can be replaced with a hydraulic valve and 6in discharge pipe for lagoon emptying.
