Scotland is responsible for a large chunk of Deutz-Fahr’s UK sales and the company chose the Highland as the national launchpad for its Series 5 Agrotron range.

Heart of the four-model 100-130hp line-up is a 5.6-litre Deutz engine that uses a diesel oxidation catalyst and cooled external gas recirculation to meet Stage 4A emissions legislation.

Transmission choice comprises a mechanical 10F/10R, a three-stage powershift (for 100-120hp models) and, for 110-130hp tractors, the continuously-variable TTV.

Optional on all is a Steering Double Displacement pump which, by pressing an in-cab button, halves the number of steering wheel turns required for full lock.
