Deutz-Fahr launch new Agrotron X-series tractors at SIMA show

Deutz Fahr used the show as its launch-pad for its new high-horsepower tractors.
The two-model Agrotron X-series features new engines and cooling packages but sticks with the cab, 24F x 24R semi-powershift transmission and axles of the previous Agrotron 265.
Both are powered by 7.1-litre, Deutz common-rail engines which are rated at 243hp and 269hp, respectively.
Equipped with waste-gate turbos and externally cooled exhaust gas recirculation systems, these new power-plants meet the latest Tier III emissions rules.
Like most current models in the Same, Deutz and Lamborghini ranges, they are also approved to run on 100% biodiesel.
Linkage lift capacity for the X-series is 10.5t and hydraulic output 120-litres/min.
Prices are yet to be confirmed.
