Dieci launches pivot-steer telehandler range
Italian maker Dieci looks to be following the model set by Merlo by gradually establishing roots and adding models to the UK telehandler market.
The latest addition to its loader family is a range of pivot-steer telehandlers first launched at the EIMA show in Bologna, Italy, back in November.
Three models make up the Dorset firm’s new range, each with a different engine size and lift height. The baby of the bunch is the T40, offering a 2t lift and 4m reach. A Kubota four-pot provides 50hp and is joined to a two-speed hydrostatic transmission with permanent four-wheel drive and double limited slip-diffs.
The mid-ranger is the T50, which is wider, lifts 200kg more and has an extra half-a-metre reach. Yanmer is Dieci’s choice of engine maker for this and the larger T60. It is bigger again and lifts to 4.7m.
All the models get a new cab with improved visibility and a fully proportional joystick on the armrest. UK machines will get a three-year, 3,000-hour warranty when sales start later this year, says the company. Prices are yet to be announced.
