Dromone collects RHS award for linkless pick-up
Dromone received a Certificate of Commendation from the Royal Highland Agricultural Society of Scotland for its Linkless pick-up hitch, first seen back at LAMMA earlier this year.
The system operates independently of the tractor’s link arms, and uses a pair of heavy-duty link chains operated by a hydraulic cylinder to lower and push back the hitch after it has been unlatched.
The design also means the lift pattern is almost vertical, reducing stress on the mechanism and maximising lift capacity. For different trailer types, hook, drawbar, piton and ball can all be interchanged.
