Take the arm work out of greasing with SKF gun

Parts specialist SKF has revealed a battery-powered grease gun that should help improve the accuracy of the electric pumping system.
The integrated grease meter should help over- and underlubrication, both of which can cause major long-term damage to dust-sensitive bearing units.

The TLGB 20 comes with a 20V lithium-ion battery together with a charge indicator, and a display that shows the amount of grease dispensed, motor speed and whether any greasing points are blocked.
The company claims it can dispense up to 15 grease cartridges per charge – when we tested rival machines last summer we achieved about one-third of that – and there are two settable flow rates depending on the type of work undertaken. Other natty extras include a light to brighten up the work area.
