New storage regulations introduced earlier this year requiring diesel to be retained in bunded containers has prompted tank manufacturers to produce a new range of products.

Typical is this new development from Balmoral Tanks which is available in 2500 and 5000-litre capacities.

Fuel being delivered into the tank is controlled by an automatic stop system to prevent over-filling and outgoing fuel is metered out at 60 litres/minute and passed though a 10-micron filter.

Price of the 2500-litre tank system is £1650.
