Italian Venieri wheel loaders come to the UK
Welsh machinery dealer RVW Pugh is hoping to steal a slice of the UK’s growing wheel loader market by importing Venieri machines from Italy.
Venieri has been manufacturing construction and earth-moving equipment for more than 67 years and specialises in simple, tough machines that aren’t packed with complicated electronics – a feature that RVW Pugh hopes will appeal to UK farmers.

The Powys-based dealer – which also has sites in Shropshire and Cheshire – plans to start by bringing in two models.
For bigger farmers and contractors, the 13.63 is likely to be of most interest.
This has a 177hp, six-cylinder Perkins under the rear hood, a three-speed Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic transmission and self-locking front-axle diff.
The 13.63 also comes as standard with a z-linkage front loader that has a bucket capacity of 2.7cu m.
This can haul a 10.5t load to a maximum height of 3,21m, putting it in a similar league to JCB’s popular 437 as well as a host of machines from smaller players such as Caterpillar, New Holland and Volvo.
Despite the 13.63’s simplified electronics, it still has a multi-function joystick controller, Bluetooth radio and air conditioning, as well as a decent amount of sound-deadening material.
The 13.63 also weighs in at a hefty 14.6t, meaning it should do a decent job of compacting large silage clamps. Total width is 2.38m.
At the smaller end of the scale, Pugh’s will be importing Venieri’s 3.63G compact pivot-steer loader.
This is just 1.83m wide, meaning it can nip in and out of tight buildings and it can lift a load of 2.5t to a height of 2.5m.
Like its bigger brother it has a z-linkage front loader and a hydrostatic transmission. In this model, power comes from a four-cylinder Yanmar engine that develops 60hp.
Both models are available now. The 13.63 has a starting list price of ÂŁ99,840 and the 3.63G, ÂŁ37,767.
