Oswestry-based JFC Manufacturing has launched a new sheep feeder. The Haybell is designed to fit over a standard round bale and allows up to 25 sheep to feed simultaneously.

Feed is kept dry and protected from the weather, says the company, and waste from trampling and fouling is minimised. Dimensions are 1.8m x 1.5mm and there are 12 openings, each of 170mm x 600mm. Cost is £307.

There’s also a horse Haybell variant with the same overall dimensions but four openings of 340mm x 800mm.
