NICK Kirby, managing director of Same Deutz-Fahr UK has via a mutual decision with Italian bosses decided to resign.

The announcement that Mr Kirby was stepping down was made on Thursday 14/04/2005 by a SDF spokesperson.

Mr Kirby – who became SDF’s UK managing director back in 2000 – had, by 2002, brought SDF UK from a loss making operation back into the black. 

During his time there Mr Kirby was responsible for a major shake up in relation to the SDF dealer network.

SDF said on Thursday that a general manager will be appointed in the near future and until that position has been filled, the responsibility of running SDF UK will rest with the firm‘s UK chief executive officer, Steve Beasley.
