The first of Kubota’s new range-toppers to hit UK shores was rushed from the docks straight to Scotgrass.

The 130hp M130X replaces the 128X and, as well as offering an extra 2hp and a torque boost, meets all-important new emissions rules. It also gains a number of new gadgets including cruise control, engine speed presets and a clever system that links the four-pot power-plant with the transmission to automatically maintain engine revs.

Prices will start from £47,000 with the Japanese giant’s own self-levelling loader adding a further £7000.
