Lamma 2018: Stanhay lightens the load with ProAir drill

Precision seed drill manufacturer Stanhay returns to Lamma with the ProAir, a new design to replace the current Star Plus.
The company says the new model is the result of worldwide customer feedback.

Stanhay says the ProAir offers specialist growers a compact and durable precision drill that is 40% lighter and 30% shorter than its predecessor, but remains easy to set up and is more adjustable than other units.
Infinite depth control – measurable to 0.1mm accuracy, thanks to a mechanical counter – is a new feature, as is the maintenance-free flexible drive from the lay shaft to the metering unit, a first for a vegetable seeder.
A 6m horizontally folding frame and a vacuum seed emptier, standard on all air drills, are other new features.
