Moore Concrete bunker wall sections give flexible storage
Northern Ireland precast manufacturer Moore Concrete has launched a new range of bunker walls that are said to give the optimum shape and profile for storing grain, fertiliser and other bulk materials.
The curved shape has been developed to allow the free flow of materials right to the bottom of the silo, says the company, and the straight portion allows easy emptying.
The new bunker wall is designed to be portable, allowing farmers to change the width of bays according to crop type and quantity. Recesses for fork toes are incorporated in the base.
Corner units for the bunker walls are also available and there are no protruding feet (unlike many conventional L-shaped retaining walls) so materials can be loaded from one or both sides.
The bunker wall units are available in heights of 2.4m (8ft), 3m (10ft) and 3.6m (12ft). Width is 1.2m (4ft). Moore Concrete can be contacted on 028 2565 2566 or www.moore-concrete.com.
