The Strautmann Streublitz VS18 spreader has two horizontal beaters shrouded by a canopy so that the shredded material falls to the discs below. It can spread up to 24m with some materials and there is a deflector that can be brought into action to limit the spread to one side for headlands.

This model and others in the range can be fitted with eight load cells between the chassis and body so that with addition of wheel sensors, the machine can deliver specific application rates.
