A SAFETY-orientated big-bag filler is the latest development from Lincs-based Tong engineering.

The Jet-Fill introduces a lowered position for the filling mechanism which allows operators to fit an empty bag at an easy to reach height.

On pressing the start button, the bag to rises to the filling position, with the bag platform also rising.

This allows the delivery conveyor to feed the crop into the bag with the minimum amount of fall.

A sensor on the conveyor automatically lowers the platform as the bag fills.

The Jet-Fill has a capacity of 20t/hour, is driven mechanically and has an optional weighing facility, providing a print-out for each bag and filling to exact or average weights.
