New general manager at SDF
SDF has appointed a new general manager following the decision by Nick Kirby last week to step down.
The Warks based firm has appointed Ken Hamilton as the new general manager, a role in which he will take responsibility for the successful running of the company.
SDF issued a statement on Monday 19/04/05 which maintained, Mr Hamilton, has a wealth of experience of the tractor industry having worked for major manufacturers in the past including Case and McCormick.
Mr Hamilton – who will report to SDF UK‘s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Beasley – has said that he aims to expand SDF‘s share of the UK tractor market.
“The Deutz, Same and Lamborghini brands, with their 35hp to 275hp power range, are first class products which can more than compete with other tractor makes” said Mr Hamilton.
Mr Hamilton pointed out the SDF shall be concentrating on providing improved dealer support and adopting more aggressive marketing plans in an attempt to put Same Deutz-Fahr at the forefront of tractor choice.
