Mowing and mulching specialist Spearhead has revealed a new four-model range of rotary mulchers.
Wings extend from 5m to 12m (model numbers signify the working width) and the triangular shape is designed to improve the spread of chopped material across the field.
The company reckons it will also help reduce chaff build-up on the deck and the staggered walking axles should help iron out bumps across the fields and reduce pressure on the mower’s chassis.
All models get the HD6 cutting system, which the Worcestershire firm says will improve the cutting and chopping of vegetation or stubble residues for an even spread and faster decomposition.
Floating wings should keep the mower following ground contours and cutting height is adjusted through tie bars that run from the front to the rear of the machine.
List prices start from ÂŁ25,920.
