One-pass grass seeder from Moore Unidrill

Although arable versions of the Moore Unidrill now fall under the Sumo banner, the Northern Irish firm has retained production of its grassland seeders.
The latest variant uses an Accord metering unit to distribute seed to disc coulters spaced 90mm (3.5in) apart.
A third closer together than before, this narrow spacing is claimed to do away with the need to drill seed in two directions to achieve a decent crop cover.
Working either direct into stubble, existing swards or new seedbeds, it is reckoned to be a true one-pass machine.
Fitted with a Guttler serrated ring-press roller, the grassland Unidrill costs £24,000.
