Potato harvester boasts higher output

Standen Pearson has launched a new three-row potato harvesterwhich is claimed to boost output by 60% compared with a two-row harvester.


The lifting set-up spans 1.8m (72in), lifting a complete pair of rows plus one ridge from the left or right bed. Alternatively, the unit can lift three rows at 90cm (36in).


Later this year Standen will launch an ultrasonic depth-control option.


Price for the T3 will be about ÂŁ130,000 to ÂŁ140,000.
