Powerfab mini-excavator can be towed directly behind a vehicle
Powerfab was a well-known name in the 1980s and 1990s but went quiet for a while. Now it’s back with the TD2 mini excavator, which could be ideal for farmers who want a low-cost, easy-to-move machine for work around the farm.
Unlike tracked units, it can be towed directly behind a car or pickup with no trailer needed. Independent front outriggers level it on site, allowing you to dig a square trench on the side of a hill. The third rear outrigger offers is said to offer good resistance for neat work with strong tear out force.
It is produced in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire and costs £6950+ VAT complete with digging arm and buckets.
