ATV attachment manufacturer Quad-X has come up with an easy-to-fill spreader capable of holding seven 50kg bags of seed or fertiliser.

Developed in response to requests for a stable sower that can work in wet conditions yet is easy to fill, the seven-bag sower enables operators to fill the hopper without having to lift bags to shoulder height in order to do so.

Fitted with an extra-wide axle and flotation tyres, the spreader’s low centre of gravity means it’s more stable, says Quad-X. It has a 350kg capacity that can be increased to up to 600kg with an optional extension. It costs from £1099 + VAT.
