If you were looking for a unusual pickup, Brown and Co’s machinery sale at Oxwick, Norfolk at the end of November was the place to be.

This 1953 Morris Oxford pickup truck is said to be one of only 12 remaining in the UK and of 200 in the world. Though it needs significant work to restore it, it sold for £1,900 to a Morris Oxford club member. Also of interest was a 1947 Massey Harris 722 combine in very good order which sold to a local buyer for £6,200, a 1979 MF575 with an MF80 loader which went for £4,800, a 1969 Ford 4000 with a Ford loader which sold for £2,150, and a Standen Rapide single-row sugar beet harvester which was knocked down for £750.
