Ritchie folding aerator coming in Spring 2012

Aerators are becoming more commonplace on grassland farms to increase yields.
Scottish manufacturer Ritchie are now offering a 5m folding model, which will be available in spring 2012.
Seen at Grassland in its prototype guise, the machine comprises two 2.5m aerators supported on individual folding arms that pivot into working position and fold back hydraulically.
Extra ballast can be added, and can remain on the machine during transport.
Tine angles can be adjusted to alter the aggressiveness of the pass – with compacted soil receiving a harsher angle to shatter the soil.
