Doublecabs may dominate the farming pick-up sector, but the loss of load-space length is still something that irks many users.

Now Mitsubishi has come up with a long-bed version of its L200 that gives an extra 180mm (7in) of loadbed length. Long-bed versions are available on 4Work, 4Life, Warrior and Animal-spec models and buyers also get a 175hp engine instead of the normal 134hp one. Prices start at £15,249 + VAT.
