SAME DEUTZ Fahr UK has recently received the authority from its Italian parent company to take over distribution of Deutz Fahr tractors in Northern Ireland.

SDF UK is the importer for Lamborgini, Same and Deutz Fahr tractors to the UK.

Previously Deutz tractors were sold in the province by Irish Agricultural Machinery – the importer for the Republic of Ireland.

SDF UK has had responsibility for the sale of sister brands Lamborgini and Same in Northern Ireland for some time.

The addition of Deutz Fahr gives the company full coverage of the UK for all three brands.

“With Same and Lamborgini we”ve been selling four times as many tractors as IAM have managed to,” says Nick Kirby, managing director of SDF UK.

“We’ve now got the responsibility to aggressively capture a strong share of the Northern Irish machinery market with the Deutz brand.

“To do it we’re going to have to develop a complete new dealer network.”
