Setting the world on fire
This Claas Jaguar 840 was working in West Sussex when a fire broke out in the engine bay.
Despite not having much time to get out, the driver thankfully made it out safely!
The fire is thought to have started due a build up of dry crop in the engine bay area, so let this be a timely reminder to keep a check on material accumulating around heated areas, especially in hot and dry conditions.
Apparently the driver hadn’t noticed the flames behind the cab until a trailer driver arrived back in the field and raised the alarm.
Many thanks to Wealden Farm Contractors for letting us use the pictures which were taken by Lisa Broughton.
